Visit Skanör, the most beautiful beach of South Sweden !

Hello my little babes! Today I take you in pictures in the prettiest beach of South Sweden (or even Sweden) because of its white sand that contrasts with all the little colorful houses all over the area: let’s visit Skanör. A place not far from Malmö that I really love and that I recommend during a stop in the South of Sweden or even in Copenhagen (you are not so far from there, about 2-3h).

Visit Skanör, the most beautiful beach of South Sweden

Skanör is really my favorite beach for relaxing and sunbathing. I love this absolutely beautiful place, with its clear waters, its white sand, its marine atmosphere and above all its small multicolored houses. This place is really original and almost timeless: a paradise of colors for the #rainbowlover that I am!

Tell me, what color would you choose? For me, I think you have the answer in pictures! The color of the sun and happiness: yellow!

Many of you have asked me on Instagram what these little houses were used for. In fact they are private storages where people can keep their beach stuff, quite simply. Some also have a small table, a sofa, a small bed even indoors to take a tea / coffee with family or to relax with the sound of the waves but away from the sun. Really too cute, right? We saw some really original and super well inside-organized ones despite their small size!

In these photos I wear one of my favorite shorts of the moment, with a “paper bag” shape. It’s really THE shorts of the year for me, I love them because they give a nice silhouette with their high waist and their little knot that tightens on the front. I have several! A little t-shirt or tank top that you wear inside the shorts, a pair of sneakers or sandals and presto! A nice summer look!

As for my Fjällraven backpack, I’m still a fan of it. I wanted one for a long time and finally got it: I told you about it in this article about the good things of June.

Also, if you’re interested in seing another summer look all in white and with a straw bag shot in the same place last year, it’s this way!

Really a nice place where I like to go as often as possible to recharge my batteries. And the sunsets out there, I do not EVEN tell you about them! Next time I’ll take some pictures and share with you on the blog 🙂

Have a nice week babes !

    Xx Aurélie

Hi 🙂 These pictures are so much fun! I am planning on visiting soon – how do you get one of the “cabana” areas? Do you reserve them in advance? I have never been to Skanor before and am attempting to plan a trip so any suggestions would be super helpful THANK YOU!

Hi Eleni! Thanks a lot for your kind comment! Mm… to be honest, I’m not sure if you can get one of the cabanas. You can surely go there, walk, take photos, etc. but I think they all belong to people who have houses in Skanör to store their beach stuff. I’m not sure they’re opened for touristic rent.
But you’ll find them SUPER easily, they’re just where the beach is (on the way). You can’t miss them. Most of them are closed and used as storage, you can definitely stroll around and take some photos 🙂
        Hope this answers your question!
However if you would really want to rent one, maybe contact the city tourist center? Maybe they do this over a day? In my opinion, it would be a bit of a hassle, but know that Swedish people all speak English so you can definitely mail them in English and ask.
Wishing you a lovely day and trip! 😀
